hi madhat. i liked ur first post i.e “Why the SEO world is full of shit - part-1″. although SEO has gathered bad press for not only the fluctuating google PR but also due to some unscrupulous SEO companies who promise u the sky but deliver in dust. though rand’s comments were a bit rattling. but nevertheless, each one has his/ her opinion.

I read Shoemoney’s post regarding how filthy SEO is and I was quite surprised because he mentioned that 95% of SEO are slimy and incompetent. I think the figures were quite overly estimated. I think it could have been better if he didn’t mention the figures at all.

How much do I contribute to the flocking behavior of social media users?

First off, I repeatedly encourage people to voice their own opinions and thoughts.

Secondly, when was I speaking of a “field of study”? It’s group think behavior at it’s core.

That makes as much sense as me asking you the same question about anything you post without having read it.
