2.) Fake your initial feedburner subscriber count
3.) Fill your blog with recycled wickedfire posts (only the tactics that have been over-saturated to the 200th power, you wouldn’t want to accidentally give away something useful
4.) Ask John Chow to partner with you in a contest to drum up an initial user base for your blog. If he refuses, just pay him until he caves in.
5.) Create an inspirational background story about your rise to super-duper affiliate stardom. Talk about how you were a big fat slob who was laid off from your job and then took it upon yourself to learn affiliate marketing from scratch while simultaneously losing 150 pounds by doing 100 cartwheels a day.
6.) Manufacture a contest that forces people to spread your blog in order to win. Say the prize is an ipod and $1,000 cash. Make the winner of the contest a fictitious person named Rosco.
7.) After 2 months of growing your readerbase, offer a private consulting session for $5,000. As soon as people begin to complain that the consulting session is useless, cut it off, citing time considerations.

I’ve probably left some things out, but that’s the general gist. Can’t believe I spent this much time writing this. It’s actually somewhat disturbing. But that’s generally the sordid tale of how to make a MMO blog.
